Northwest​ Cheerleading

We would like to allow students to be able to do additional sports if they would like to so this year we are able to allow for the selection of each season.

Squad sizes will be approximately the same size for each season - meaning we will not have twice as many team members for football than basketball.

Football season team members will be required to:

• attend practices during their respective season

• attend all team games​​

• participate in pep assemblies - Go Bananas and Homecoming

• attend summer practices

• participate in additional events throughout the season and leading up to the start of school

Basketball season team members will be required to:

• attend practices during their respective season​

• attend all team games

• participate in pep assemblies - MORP

• participate in additional events throughout the season

• attend summer practices - these will be scheduled to not conflict with other fall sports. If there is a conflict, the cheerleader will attend the fall sport event over cheerleading. This applies to Northwest High School activities only.
