SCORE SHEET

The following sections are a part of the score sheet for tryouts

Spirit

Appearance

Voice Projection

Jumps

Tumbling

Cheer

Dance

Chants

  • Spirit - Show your spirit after each chant and cheer. Scoring will be based on creativity and energy. Don't forget to smile!

  • Appearance - Make sure you dress according to the dress code. It's an easy 5 points just by following the rules.

  • Voice Projection - Keep your voice loud and clear. We need to hear you and we need to understand what you are saying.

  • Jumps - You will be judged on your technique, height, and timing. Make sure it's clean from start to finish. You will need to show a hurdler, a toe touch, and a double toe touch.

  • Tumbling - You will be judged on your technique, coordination, and level of difficulty. We recommend that you show some tumbling skills, even if you're just a beginner. A round-off or cartwheel will not be as many points as a back tuck but it's still worth something.

  • Cheer - Make sure you are sharp and have your motions in the right place. Keep pace with the video that you were working with and that your voice is loud and clear.

  • Dance - You will be judged on your rhythm and showmanship. Focus on your timing with the music and don't be afraid to show off.

  • Chants - Stay sharp and yell loud. You will perform each chant 3 times just like when on the sideline at a football game.
